Presidents of Georgia and Finland meet

The presidents of Georgia and Finland have discussed cooperation
between the two countries in New York. Mikhail Saakashvili and Tarja
Halonen met within the framework of the UN General Assembly, Georgia

The sides discussed issues of the coming OSCE summit in Astana. The
Finnish president expressed support for Georgia in its bid for
European integration and joining NATO.


Saakashvili thanked Halonen for the gifts she sent his younger son.
