Major-General Walter Piatt, deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army in Europe, said that Turkey can stop potential infiltration of ISIS from Syria without NATO assistance, TASS reports.
The general clarified that the Turkish government had a similar opinion. In his words, Turkey asked the NATO to help control the Turkish-Syrian border.
