Georgia is going to maintain current ties with Russia thorugh the unofficial dialogue between the Georgian Prime Minister's Representative for Russia Zurab Abashidze and Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, Georgian Minister for European And North-Atlantic Integration Aleksi Petriashvili informs.
"Zurab Abashidze remains the prime minister's envoy. A new meeting between the envoy and Russia's deputy foreign minister is on the agenda now, but it will take place eventually, since it is in Georgia's best interests," the minister is quoted as saying by Interfax-Azerbaijan.
