South Ossetian Premier Vadim Brovtsev has checked housing restoration
in the capital Tskhinvali, damaged in the war of August 2008.
IA ‘Res’ noted that the premier is discontent with the slow rate of
housing restoration and recommended using higher quality construction
materials for walls, due to climate conditions in the region.
Brovtsev also proposed using energy-saving materials to improve the
efficiency of energy resources in house heating.
He ordered the head of the State Committee for restoration works to
react to behind-schedule contractors with penalties or hiring
different contractors.
