Erdogan warns US against providing Kurds with arms

 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned the United States against providing Kurdish troops fighting against the Islamic State with arms, Associated Press reports.

 According to Erdogan, such a move would be similar to supporting the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), a terrorist group struggling against the Turkish government.
