Obama makes speech at UN General Assembly

The international community is ready to restore relations with Iran if its nuclear program proves peaceful, US President Barack Obama said in his speech at the UN General Assembly, reports Trend. "Iran was offered support, but it has to respect its obligations", he said. Iran is the only country to sign up to the non-proliferation treaty that hasn't proved its peaceful goals of the program, he added.
Obama also called the new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia the most comprehensive treaty in recent decades.
