Today the younger son of Kurmanbek Bakiyev the former president of Kyrgyzstan - Maxim Bakiyev - was sentenced to life imprisonment for corruption by a decision of the May Day court of Bishkek."Maxim Bakiyev, heading the central agency for development of investments and innovations in the year 2010, has been found guilty of taking 2 billion soms (about $37 million) from the Social Fund," TASS cites an announcement by the court.
