Georgia and Japan discuss cooperation

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida have discussed bilateral relations and prospects for their development. Kishida noted the importance of cooperation and confirmed the interest of Japan in Georgian projects, Trend reports.

The sides discussed implementation of visa-free arrangements for holders of diplomatic passports.

Margvelashvili paid special attention to the situation in the occupied territories. Japan expressed support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
