Putin calls for nuclear non-proliferation

Russian President Vladimir Putin says the fewer nuclear weapons exist in the world, the better, TASS reports on Friday night.

According to Putin, Russia fully supports the principle of nuclear non-proliferation, but underlines that such a regime should be observed fairly.

 

"We insist that the talks concerning nuclear disarmament should continue. The fewer nuclear weapons exist in the world, the better," President Putin is quoted by TASS as saying.
