Three Turkish soldiers were killed in a gun attack in the Yüksekova district of the southeastern province of Hakkari, Hurriyet Daily News cites Doğan News Agency as saying.
The three soldiers, who were not uniformed, were wounded at the Oct. 25 attack on the central Cengiz Topel Street in the afternoon, and died at the hospital Doğan said.
The Gerenal Staff said in a written statement that the victims were one gendarmerie specialist sergeant and two gendarmerie privates.
The police have launched an operation to catch the two attackers, reports said.
