Morocco is interested in ties with Azerbaijan in all spheres, the
chairman of the Moroccan Parliament, Abdelvahid Radi, told journalists
in Baku on Friday, Trend reports. Radi arrived in Azerbaijan on
September 23 and will have meetings until September 27.
Radi plans to improve political-economic and social ties between the
two countries. He plans to discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation and
may sign an agreement. On September 24 the Morocco delegation visited
the Alley of Honorary Burial. Radi was assisted by the vice-speaker of
the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ziyafet Askerov. The guests honoured the
memory of Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at his tomb. They also
honoured the memory of a well-known ophthalmologist, Zarif hanum
Aliyev.
