Dagestan police filed 220 cases of corruption since the beginning of the year

The law enforcement bodies of the republic of Dagestan have filed 220 criminal cases on crimes related to corruption since the beginning of 2014. This already exceeds the number of similar criminal cases for the whole of 2013. This information was announced by the representative of the republican branch of the Russian Investigating Committee Oleg Potanin.


"The number of prosecutions of corruption crimes in the country is increasing every year. If in 2013 there were 196, then in the first nine months of this year there have already been 220," Potanin is quoted by ITAR-TASS.
