Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze has announced conclusion of the first stage of liberalization of the visa regime with the EU. In her words, the European Commission praised Georgia for its progress.The European Commission published the second report on liberalization of the Georgian-EU visa regime on October 29. The document states that Georgia complied with all the rules of the first phase of the visa dialogue.The Georgian-EU Association Agreement was signed in Brussels on June 27. The main part of the document came into force on September 1. Part of the agreement is to deepen the free trade zone.
