Iranian president to visit Azerbaijan in November

 

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will make his first visit to Azerbaijan as the head of the Islamic Republic in November, according to Iranian President Mohsun Pakayin, Trend reports.Rouhani is the 7th president of Iran. He got 50.68% of votes (18.6 million) at the presidential polls on June 14, 2013. He took the oath on August 3, 2013. His inauguration was held on the next day, attended by leaders and diplomats of over 50 countries, for the first time since the revolution in 1979.Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited Iran on April 9, 2014.According to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, the trade turnover of Azerbaijan and Iran totaled $144.045 million in January-September 2014 (Azerbaijan imported products worth $115.6 million, exported worth $28.45 million).
