OSCE mission in Ukraine to be expanded

 

The OSCE plans to expand the monitoring mission in Ukraine to 500 observers, 350 of them working in Donetsk and Luhansk, according to Alexander Hug, deputy head of the OSCE special monitoring mission, TASS reports.Hug said that meetings of the Ukrainian military and militia and OSCE officials in Donetsk allowed the sides to continue the dialogue. They will have a new mission soon, in Hug’s words.Spokesman of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Yevgeniy Perebiynis clarified that the OSCE mission consisted of 358 observers.
