SCO Secretary General Dmitry Mezentsev said that the basic documents of the Organization did not stipulate creation of common armed formations. In his words, the documents had been proven effective throughout the 13 years of the SCO’s progress, TASS reports.The SCO was formed on June 15, 2001. Its members are Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Mongolia, India, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan are the observers.
