Georgian Auditor General Lasha Tordia said that the investigation over waste of $2.3 million at the Georgian Defense Ministry had been initiated by Defense Minister Irakli Alasania. He noted that the audit in the Georgian ministry had been ongoing since July 2013. The parliament was interested in it, according to Tordia.
