NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that activeness of the Alliance in Europe had increased 5-fold, compared with its progress in 2013. The NATO increased the number of aircraft and forces in Poland, sent more ships to the Black Sea, RIA Novosti reports.Stoltenberg noted that the Rapid Reaction Force at the highest readiness level since the Cold War and was prepared to act as soon as needed.Commenting on the Ukrainian crisis, he emphasized that there was no military solution. In his words, the NATO will support sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine. Stoltenberg added that the Alliance had plenty of facts to prove shipments of Russian vehicles to Ukraine.
