Kazakhstani ex-Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov (born in 1958) has been put under home arrest by the Kazybek bi Karagandy District Court as a suspect of corruption, Kazinform reports.
Akhmetov’s case is associated with crimes allegedly committed by ex-authorities of Karaganda and the Karaganda Province, SPK Saryarka, Metallurgiya-Metallobrabotka, KazAgroFinance and other officials.
