EU to grant Georgia 30 million euros

 

The European Union will grant Georgia 30 million euros for the strategy of regional development and realization of economic and social programs in regions. The grant agreement was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn in Brussels on Tuesday, Interfax reports.The first session of the Georgia-EU Association Council was hosted by Brussels yesterday. The sides discussed realization of reforms.Georgia and the EU signed an association agreement on June 27.
