Turkish Interior Minister meets head of Kurdish North Iraqi government


The Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay arrived on Sunday in the
Iraqi town of Erbil to hold negotiations with the Kurdish regional
government of North Iraq, reports Trend. In Salakhaddin, Atalay held a
three-hour closed door meeting with the head of the Kurdish
government, Aydin Selcen. The activity of the Kurdistan Worker's Party
and it's recent declaration of a ceasefire was discussed at the
meeting, according to some sources, reports CNN Turk. The Kurdistan
Worker's Party declared a ceasefire until the 20th of September.
