EU condemns Russian-Abkhaz alliance

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said that the Russian agreement on alliance and strategic partnership with breakaway Abkhazia was undermining efforts to stabilize security in the region. She called the document a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, international law and Russia’s international obligations, Yuga.ru reports.
