Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met with Latvian President Andris Berzins and discussed development of trade-economic ties, Trend reports.
Garibashvili thanked Berzins for visiting Georgia and for supporting Georgia while Latvia was chairing the EU. He expressed concerns about the signing of an alliance between Russia and Abkhazia, calling it annexing Georgian territory.
Berzins reiterated support for Georgian territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The two leaders went to a Georgian-Latvian business forum after lunch.
