Abkhaz Prime Minister Beslan Butba met with the authorities of the Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine and proposed recognizing the region as an independent republic, according to Donetsk Foreign Minister Alexander Kofman, TASS reports.
Kofman added that documents on recognition of the republic may be ready in two weeks.
