30 Hamas members have been detained in the West Bank, according to Ofir Gendelman, the spokesman of the Israeli PM. They were planning terrorist attacks in Israel, including an attack on one of the largest football stadiums in the country, military spokesman Peter Lerner stated, RIA Novosti reports.
The militants were planning to kidnap Israelis, plant bombs in cars, make armed assaults. They had explosives and automatic weapons.
The group was neutralized in September, the operation had been a secret until recently.
