Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference after a meeting with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland that Moscow was opposed to Kiev’s plans to join NATO, TASS reports.
Lavrov noted that neither NATO, the Ukrainian crisis nor French Mistral ships had been subjects of discussion at his meeting with Jagland. The sides discussed problems concerning the agenda of the Council of Europe.
