NATO chief wants maximum number of countries to join anti-Russian sanctions

 

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that he wanted as many countries as possible to join anti-Russian sanctions to punish it for breaking the international law, RIA Novosti reports.Turkish Minister for EU Affairs Volkan Bozkir and Ambassador to Russia Umit Yardim had said earlier that Turkey was not planning to impose sanctions against Russia at the behest of the U.S. or the EU. The latter two imposed sanctions on Russia for the situation in Ukraine.
