Turkey, as a host, has specified the date for the XI meeting of the TRACECA Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC), the governing body of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor, reports ABC.az.
Akif Mustafayev, TRACECA National Secretary from Azerbaijan, says that the government of Turkey has officially notified all the members of the main multilateral TRACECA agreement that the IGC meeting will be held on January 29, 2015 in Istanbul.
“At the meeting Turkey will officially take over the presidency from Tajikistan”, Mustafayev said.
Initially the meeting was planned to be held before the end of November 2014. Previous (X) IGC meeting was held in Dushanbe.
