Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that a new gas pipeline will be built from Russia to Turkey along the Black Sea bed. The Energy Ministry was ordered to study construction of the pipeline and a gas hub on the Turkish-Greek border with Gazprom and a Turkish company to supply Europe with gas, TASS reports.
Turkey proposed reduction of the price by 15%. The price will drop by 6% on January 1, Novak rounded up the talks of the Russian and Turkish presidents in Ankara.
The minister added that intergovernmental agreements on the South Stream were still in force and Russia will comply with its obligations to supply Europe with gas. The European Commission wants realization of the South Stream project.
