Spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said that the international coalition fighting ISIS in Syria will not succeed without coordinating with Damascus. He pointed out that the problem of Kobani had not been resolved, TASS reports.
The coalition is focusing on Ar-Raqqah, according to Lukashevich.
He added that Moscow wanted to assist Damascus in fighting terrorism and backed the peace process based on the principles of the Geneva declarations made in June 2012.
