Spokeswoman of the U.S. State Department Jen Psaki said that Washington may pass new sanctions against Russia for cooperating with Iran, RIA Novosti reports.
Sanctions of the U.S., EU and the UNSC against Iran remain in force. The EU froze some anti-Iranian sanctions in January 2014, according to Geneva agreements of Iran and the Group of Six. The U.S. took the same action in August. Some U.S. congressmen demand harsher sanctions against Tehran.
