NATO to make decisions for Georgia in February

The NATO Secretary General's Special Envoy for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, James Appathurai, arrived in Georgia to prepare for a visit by the deputy chief of the Alliance planned in February 2015, Trend reports.

Appathurai will stay in Georgia until December 5. He will discuss new opportunities and the obligations of Georgia within the framework of realization of the package of measures to join NATO. Appathurai will have the first meeting within the framework of the visit with the Georgian defense minister. He will also meet with the Georgian prime minister, speaker of parliament, members of the parliamentary majority and minority.
