Russia and Iran adopt drug control plan for 2015-2018

 

Victor Ivanov, the head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service, and Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, the interior minister of Iran, have signed an action plan for drug control in 2015-2018. The plan stipulates development of mechanisms for exchange of information about drug farms and labs, drug transit from Afghanistan and on the Caspian Sea, money laundering, RIA Novosti reports.The sides plan to organize joint searches, exchange experience in disrupting drug transit, treating drug addicts and preventing addiction.
