RAS may open science center in Ingushetia

 

President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Vladimir Fortov has met with Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Director of the Ch. Akhriyev Ingush Research Institute of Humanitarian Sciences Nina Barakhoyeva. They discussed plans to open an RAS regional science center in Ingushetia composition of a history archive of Ingushetia.Yevkurov presented a report on the education system and science potential of the republic, described the Ingush State University, where over 10,000 people study, other research institute and centers with over 250 scientists with doctor and candidate of sciences degrees.Yevkurov invited Moscow scientists to Ingushetia. The meeting was concluded with agreements to study the science potential of Ingushetia and form a working group of the RAS to visit the republic.
