Radar to be launched in Russia's Armavir

The Russian Defense Ministry plans to launch a 'Voronezh-DM' radar in
Armavir (Krasnodar Territory) and build several new radars to cover
directions unprotected from missiles, RIA Novosti reports, citing
Lieutenant General Oleg Ostapenko.


The general also said that they plan to replace old radars. The first
radar 'Voronezh-M' is already operating in the Leningrad Region.
