Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has discussed bilateral cooperation with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili in Ashkhabad, Trend reports.
They talked about realization of the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia transportation project. It will benefit socio-economic rebirth of Afghanistan, its engagement in regional and international infrastructure projects.
Turkmenistan had earlier expressed interest in participating in the construction of the new Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway.
The president exchanged opinions about regional and international affairs.
