Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the annual press conference that Russia will continue development of relations with Turkey. The president noted that he had had no doubts in Turkey’s refusal to join anti-Russian sanctions.Concerning the Turkish-Cyprus conflict, Putin noted that Russia was trying to keep a balanced position and find a consensus for both the Turkish and the Greek parts of the island. He expressed optimism about the peace process.
