Dialogue is being prevented by Georgia, not Russia - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia

Direct dialogue between Georgia and South Ossetia has not yet been established not because of Russia, but because of Tbilisi. This statement was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic David Sanakoev.

"We have the format of the Geneva discussions, where representatives of South Ossetia and Georgia are meeting, and where security issues are primarily resolved. Within this format an agreement on the non-use of force between Georgia and South Ossetia has been worked out. This is a fundamental document, after the signing of which we can discuss other issues. Russia supports the adoption of this document, and Georgia on the other hand, is blocking it. Thus, the dialogue is hampered not by Russia, but the position of Georgia "- Sanakoev is quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
