France supports the softening of sanctions against Russia if the country is included in the resolution of the crisis in Ukraine, French President Francois Hollande stated.
"I believe that if today Russia will make the gestures that we expect, there is no need for new sanctions, and you need to think, on the contrary, as we ourselves begin de-escalation," RIA Novosti quotes Hollande.
The French President also noted that including Moscow in the process of resolving the crisis will make the sanctions irrelevant.
