Uzbek CEC says parliamentary elections are valid

The Uzbek Central Electoral Commission says the parliamentary elections held in the country are valid, TASS reports on Sunday.

As of 1pm local time over 57 percent of voters took part in the elections.

535 politicians from four political parties are competing for 535 seats in the country's parliament.
