Turnout at Uzbek parliamentary polls hits 88 percent

The turnout at the parliamentary elections held in Uzbekistan has hit 88 percent, Gazeta.ru cites the republic's Central Electoral Commission as saying.

Four parties are taking part in the camapaign. They are the Liberal Democratic Party, the People's Democratic Party, the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the National Revival Party.
