Ukrainian president thanks U.S. for anti-Crimean sanctions

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has thanked the U.S. for Barack Obama’s new sanctions against Russia in a telephone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, Gazeta.ru reports.

The sides discussed financial aid from the U.S., EU and international financial organizations to Ukraine. They agreed to continue coordinating efforts to stabilize the situation in the south-east of Ukraine.
