Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered the Russian-Abkhaz alliance and strategic partnership agreement to the State Duma for ratification, Gazeta.ru reports.
The document stipulates cooperation in the social, economic, humanitarian and security sectors. It forms the legal basis for new agreements in the sectors.
Abkhazia has already ratified the agreement.
