The Russian Government is obliged primarily to meet its social obligations. This statement was made today by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at the enlarged session of the Supreme and the General Council of the party "United Russia".
"However we are pressed, no matter what the grip of oil prices or sanctions is in our country, whatever happens, we need to perform social obligations," Medvedev is quoted by TASS.
Medvedev stressed that social obligations are a priority for the government, and other problems can be postponed.
