Joint Georgian-American military manoeuvres were discussed at a meeting of the delegation of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces with the head of the Department of J-5 Staff of the US Central Command, Major General Stephen Busby.
The talks took place within the framework of a two-day visit by the Georgian delegation to the United States.
Members of the delegation headed by the Deputy Chief of Staff Colonel Roman Jokhadze were received by the head of US Central Command Staff, Major-General Michael Garrett.
He thanked the Georgian side for its participation in international missions. Issues of regional security were also discussed at the meeting, Trend reports.
