Putin thanks rescue officers for their assistance in southeastern Ukraine

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the rescuers who deliver humanitarian aid to the southeast of Ukraine.


"Of course, special thanks are due to the selfless actions of the rescuers to help the residents of the southeast of Ukraine. Thousands of tons of humanitarian aid - food and medical supplies have been delivered to a neighboring state," the President said on the occasion of the celebration of Lifeguard Day.

 

According to him, "the necessary conditions were provided for human habitation, for those whom in view of the circumstances were forced to move to Russia." "Tens of thousands of people are sincerely grateful for such strong support and participation," TASS quoted the text of the greetings.
