National fund for supporting low-income families will be established in Ingushetia.
The head of the Republic of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, recently held a meeting with the Chairman of the Spiritual Center of Muslims of Ingushetia, Issa Hajji Khamkhoev. They discussed the organization of events for the sacred month of Rabi' al-awwal, the kidnapping of brides for the purpose of marriage, financial assistance to low-income families and reconciliation of blood feuds.
During the meeting, the head of the region noted the need to establish a Republican Foundation, which will include authoritative religious and community leaders in the region. Yevkurov is sure that many residents of Ingushetia would take part in this charity event and would make a day's donation from their salary every month and thus help those who are in a difficult situation.
"We could solve the housing problems of everyday life of many poor families by organizing fundraising and properly distributing them. I am ready to donate a day's salary every month," Yevkurov concluded.
