Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan Elman Abdullayev presented his credentials to the President of Ethiopia Mulatu Teshome at a meeting, at which the ambassador conveyed best wishes from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Abdullayev also said that Azerbaijan is interested in the development of relationships with Ethiopia in a number of areas, including the economic, educational and cultural fields. He also added that there is great potential for raising the relationship between the two countries to a new level.
In his turn, the Ethiopian President noted the importance of deepening relations between two countries, expressed his admiration for the dynamic development of Azerbaijan, and wished the Ambassador success in his future work.
In addition, at the meeting the sides discussed the possibility of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia in various fields.
