The deputy head of the Russian Statistics Service Mikhail Dianov
expressed confidence that the program of developing the North Caucasus
will be adjusted according to the upcoming census. The current program
of social-economic development is being developed according to the
census of 2002, Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
Representatives from Chechnya, North Ossetia and Krasnodar Territory
agreed. The head of Chechen Statistics Service Ramzan Digayev and the
deputy head of the North Ossetian Statistics Service Lipatova Yelena
Dmitriyevna are also confident that census results will play the final
role in adjusting the development program.
