Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has received an invitation to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II, RIA Novosti reports.
The head of the Japanese cabinet has not accepted the invitation yet. According to Japanese media, he will consider the appropriateness of participation in the event, as his country has joined international sanctions imposed on Russia in reponse to its policy towards Ukraine.
